As each school year begins,
many Kappa Delta collegiate chapters
prepare for recruitment (formerly Rush).
As alumnae, we want to
provide as many chapters as possible
with recommendations for potential new members
who would make great KDs on their respective campuses.
We are in the process of
writing recommendations on many girls
in the Nashville area who will soon be participating in recruitment.
If you know of a girl who
will be going through recruitment
and would like the Nashville Alumnae Chapter
to endorse a recommendation for her,
please complete a Kappa
Delta Reference Form.
If a potential new member
is also a legacy,
please complete a Legacy
Introduction Form as well.
You can also take this oppotunity to
register your
KD legacy in the Legacy Database
It is important to note
that many
Kappa Delta
collegiate chapters have specific reference
requests.
Please contact
us for additional details on how to
best submit a reference or to receive an endorsement from our alumnae
chapter.
We appreciate your support and look forward to another
great year of recruitment for Kappa Delta sorority.
Why
should I submit a reference through my Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter?
Although
you may forward a reference on a potential new member directly to a
collegiate chapter, your reference will carry more weight if it is
submitted through your local alumnae chapter. Collegiate chapters will
give a reference more consideration if it knows that several Kappa
Delta alumnae have considered a potential new member.
In light
of Kappa Delta’s transition to a new recruitment system, an Alumnae
Chapter’s endorsement will be even more beneficial. Your reference will
also be further considered if you have remained actively involved with
Kappa Delta through your local Alumnae Chapter.
