Our alumnae chapter
provides members with the ability to make lasting friendships with
people in the Nashville area that have all shared the Kappa Delta
experience.
- Our members enjoy
girls’ night out, celebrate Cinco de Mayo, paint pottery, host a
Founders’ Day event and celebrate National Women’s Friendship Day. Our
chapter also recently formed a Rosebuds group that organizes social
functions for our younger members.
- Our
alumnae chapter provides members with the opportunity to support many
charitable organizations including the Exchange Club Family Center, the
Girl Scouts, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and the Kappa Delta
Foundation.
- A portion
of our dues is used to support local Kappa Delta collegiate chapters.
Our alumnae chapter supports Vanderbilt, Tennessee Tech and Sewanee.
- Dues
paying members of our alumnae chapter receive copies of our calendar of
events, invitations to our Founders’ Day and National Women’s
Friendship Day celebrations, instructions on submitting references to
collegiate chapters, and our alumnae chapter’s newsletter.
- Although
you may forward a reference on a potential new Kappa Delta directly to
a collegiate chapter, your reference will carry more weight if it is
submitted through our alumnae chapter. If you are a dues paying member
of the Nashville Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter, priority is given to your
request to have a reference endorsed by our reference chair.
- If you are
a dues paying member of our alumnae chapter, we communicate your
ongoing support to national Kappa Delta. A portion of our dues helps
Kappa Delta sorority maintain the exemplary level of service currently
enjoyed by all members while providing alumnae opportunities for
personal and professional development. By letting national Kappa Delta
know that you are an active member of our alumnae chapter, your contact
information in the national registry remains updated.
- Dues
paying members of our alumnae chapter are allowed to post information
on the Members Only section of our web site.
- Our
alumnae chapter is comprised of Kappa Deltas from all across the
nation. Several of our members are right out of college, others are
just starting families while others are watching their own children
begin college. We also have members that have been involved with Kappa
Delta for over 60+ years. We are business owners, stay at home moms,
professionals, community volunteers, and collegiate chapter volunteers.
We provide an amazing networking opportunity that allows our members to
meet on a regular basis and shares ideas.
- Our
alumnae chapter was recently recognized as the MOST OUTSTANDING of all Kappa Delta Alumnae chapters in the
nation. Find out why by joining us as an active dues-paying member.
